Every Monday morning from 8am to 12pm (until 1pm in summer), Cany-Barville hosts a lively and colourful weekly market. It's the perfect opportunity to discover local produce, meet local producers and fill up on Norman flavours. For the rest of the week, you'll find local shops such as bakeries, butchers, grocery shops and clothing shops, as well as supermarkets for a wider choice. You'll find a wide selection of books, magazines, CDs and DVDs, as well as access to digital resources. The library also offers regular events such as workshops, lectures and exhibitions.
Since 2024, the multimedia library has also been home to a Micro-Folie, an innovative cultural space that allows visitors to discover the masterpieces of national museums using digital tools. The Micro-Folie also offers workshops, games and guided tours for all ages.
